Management Wisdom in Traditional Chinese Culture

I. The Great Success of Self-Management: Buddhist Culture's "Selflessness" and "Sacrifice"

Buddhist culture looks at human beings and life from a cosmic viewpoint of space and time, and aims to turn a pessimistic human being into a confident human being, and educates people to constantly do things that are beneficial to society and to others. It aims to change a pessimistic human being

into a confident human being, and educates people to keep doing what is good for the society and others, and only such people can always move towards the Buddha's path. Why are humans pessimistic? Because the ultimate result of human life is death, birth, old age, sickness and death are the sufferings of human beings, the great Buddha Siddhartha Gautama was trying to let human beings spiritually get rid of such a fate --- he gave up his privileged aristocratic life, practiced hard, and finally with a mind that encompasses

the universe, he founded Buddhism, which views eternal life in terms of infinite time and space.

The future of man is bright, life and death are one thing, that is only a change in physical form, life is eternal.

The succeeding Buddhas followed in the footsteps of the Buddha and continued to explore the true nature of the universe. They saw that people could not just live for the ideal; they also had to live for the present moment, so they let people pursue the realm of no thought, no dwelling, no phase, no self, in order to have a better state of mind, to maximize the universality of all beings in the realm of forgetfulness of the Sacrifice of Dharma. Later on, Chairman Mao Zedong advocated the idea of serving the people wholeheartedly, holding the belief that one only seeks to plow and not to reap, quietly playing one's social role well and seeking happiness for others, which also reflects his broad and loving heart. To forget me is to forget me, what am I?

I am composed of factors that are not me, such as wealth, power, beauty, inexplicable worries, etc.. If a person in the work, labor, the brain has been occupied by some unnecessary things, such as fame, profit, but also for some disputes and nagging, or worse, sitting on the plane, always worried that the plane will fall down --- these worries are excruciatingly painful, which can do a good job? If you analyze from the perspective of energy, a thought, energy that is occupied, with the formula that is: energy remaining (existing energy) = energy source - energy occupation wholeheartedly = physical condition - occupation (wealth, color, power, annoyance, etc.) = forget me

The more energy occupation, the less residual energy, the worse the state of doing things; if the residual energy is a negative number, it is best not to do anything, or else The more energy you take up, the less residual energy you have, and the worse your state of being. On the contrary, the less energy occupied,

The greater the residual energy, the better the person's mental state. When the energy occupation is equal to zero, a person reaches the realm of forgetfulness. Later, Baoyu became a monk, and became able to take and let go, roughly reflecting the spirit of Buddhist charity.

These theories created by the Buddhas are to allow people to make energy occupation close to zero through practice, so that they can wholeheartedly devote themselves to life and work, maximize their happiness, and maximize their talents to pursue human happiness.

The true meaning of the pursuit of Buddha is to give up the law, that is, to give up the previous law and to achieve the lawlessness, that is, never to be a slave to dogmatism. There is a story told in the Buddhist scriptures about a man who crossed a river, and on the other side of the river was a mountain, but the man crossed the river and still carried the boat on his back to go up the mountain. The story is simple, but the meaning is not; it is not easy to be lawless, but it is even more difficult to give up the law. Buddhism gives us not only a belief, but also a wisdom.

Second, the highest principle of management: do nothing to rule

Laozi's ideas have influenced China for thousands of years, involving military, political, economic, and people's daily lives in various fields, the Chinese people's blood has unconsciously rolled in the blood of Laozi's culture; like the "fast-flowing", "Be open-minded as a valley" and "Softness overcomes strength" are still the credo of many Chinese people. Laozi's greatness is not limited to this, his writings also contain profound philosophy and wisdom to help the world and the people. If we summarize his thoughts highly, we can use two words to illustrate them: first, "the opposite is the movement of the Tao", and second, "Wu Wei". (1) The philosophical wisdom contained in "the movement of the opposite of the Tao"

"The movement of the opposite of the Tao" summarizes his philosophical wisdom. Philosophical thought generally begins with an exploration of the origin of the universe, and Laozi is no exception.

According to Laozi, the origin of the universe is not concrete substances such as water, fire, wind, etc., but the Tao. The Tao is a mixture of things that existed before the formation of heaven and earth; it has no sound and no form, but it transcends all things and is permanent and unchanging, operating at all times and in all places.

It creates all things in heaven and earth, and is the source of all things in heaven and earth. The Tao is the source of the universe, the root of all things in heaven and earth.

Dao Since it is the origin of all things in the universe, the root from which all things in heaven and earth are born and raised, it is of course different from all things in heaven and earth. The world is a thing, can be called "there"; Road is not a thing but a metaphysical existence, can only be called "no"; but the Road can create the world, can be called "there". ---The Tao is both "Yes" and "No". To put it more clearly, "nothing" is the Tao "body", "something" is the Tao "with", but the body must be prior to use, so But the body must precede the use, so the level of nothing is higher than that of something. As Lao Tzu said, "Everything is born from existence, and existence is born from nothing". Tao cannot be described in words, but can only be realized. Nothing is Tao, which is the formless form, the image of nothing. In fact, the Tao is just beyond the phenomenal world, it is not our senses can grasp to recognize, so see but not see, hear but not hear, wrestling can not. Tao transcends both time and space; neither life nor death, nor size. Zhuangzi said it is "in the Taiji first and not for high, in the six poles and not for deep, first heaven and earth is born and not for a long time, long in the ancient times and not for the old." Although it creates all things, it itself is not damaged at all, and this creative ability is everlasting and omnipresent - as the saying goes, "independent and unchanged, circumambient and not perilous".

The use of Tao is how Tao creates all things, and how it creates and nurtures them. The process of its generation is "the Tao gave birth to one, a life of two, two gave birth to three, three gave birth to all things". What is "one"? It is "there". In terms of the two gas, the Road is reason, a gas, the Road is born one, is the reason for life, this gas is the yin and yang are not divided before the "chaos of the gas"; "two" is the yin and yang two gas; "three" is the Yin and Yang two gas plus its role in the formation of the "and gas"; and then everything gradually generated --- this is the process of generating the universe.

After the creation of all things, the Tao is the same body with all things, memory in all things, animal husbandry and nurture all things. However, the Tao in the memory of all things is not called Tao, but called "virtue". "Tao is the essence of virtue, and virtue is the function of Tao. "The only difference between the two is the difference between the body and the use of the body, there is no essential difference.

Although the Tao was born all things, feed all things, but there is no selfish domination of all things, possession of all things, but completely natural and mindless and become chemistry - visible Laozi's philosophical thinking and his management thinking is the same lineage. Dao creates all things, virtue nourishes all things, and Dao and virtue are the fundamentals of the generation of all things, so there is nothing that does not respect Dao and precious virtue. The reason why Tao is honored by all things and why virtue is precious to all things is that Tao and virtue create all things without interfering or dominating them, but letting them grow naturally. Dao is able to create all things, Germany is able to raise all things, cultivate all things, grow into all things, love all things; but the way to grow

long all things, but not for themselves, and nurture all things, but not self-reliant in its ability to grow into all things, but not to be the master of all things, can be called subtle and far-reaching virtues.
