How did printing spread to the west?

There are five kinds of statements:

1. Printing was spread by Uighurs who lived in western Gansu and eastern Xinjiang in ancient times, and the time was about 13 to14th century.

2. Printing was introduced to the west in the early years of Yuan Dynasty (A.D. 127 1 to 1368), and was introduced to the conquered European countries through the printing craftsmen of the Mongolian army.
