Full of mountains and green, full of white rivers,

Weng Juan, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, was born in Yongjia (now Wenzhou, Zhejiang). His date of birth and death is unknown. He has never been an official in his life and failed many exams. He is a man of letters in cloth. With Zhao Shixiu, Zhao Xu and Ji Xu, they are also called "Yongjia Four Spirits". Most of his poems pay attention to skills, freshness and significance, and pay attention to tempering words.
