Can LED T8 tubes replace traditional T12 tubes?
My home remodeling is 1.2 meters of fluorescent traditional base and tube. I'm not quite sure what size T12 you are talking about, but you can measure the length. I also bought T8 LED tubes. Generally the steps to retrofit are different for different brands, because the things to be removed are not the same. Some only need to remove 1, my home is need to ballast and starter all removed. Just ask the seller about this.
1 I removed the ballast first. Disconnect all the wires coming in and out of the ballast at both ends. After that, reconnect all the breaks, usually there are 2 red breaks, definitely connect according to the color first.
2 Remove the starter. After removing it, the broken ends of the wires are connected and wrapped with insulating tape.
3 Restore the base as it is. Install the fluorescent tube, just insert the end of the fluorescent tube with the brand logo into the end of the base that feeds the current.
