First, the BIOS sets the general options of the traditional startup mode.
Note: If you have the following options, you need to modify them; If not, you will skip them.
1, SecureBoot is changed to disabled, and safe startup is disabled. This is the most important thing! Some models need to set the BIOS password to modify SecureBoot. Find SetSupervisorPassword to set the password.
2.CSM is changed to "Enabled", "Yes" or "Always", indicating compatibility mode.
3.OSModeSelection is set to CSMOS.
4.Bootmode or UEFImode or BootListOption is changed to Legacy, indicating the traditional startup mode.
5. Change OSOptimizedDefaults to Disabled or OtherOS to disable the default system priority setting.
6. Under the advanced option, FastBIOSMode is set to be disabled.

Second, the hard disk partition table conversion

Note: After changing the BIOS, you need to convert the partition table to install the system. Uefi corresponds to gpt(guid) and legacy corresponds to mbr.
Take the common ASUS and Lenovo notebooks as examples to illustrate:

1. When starting the computer, keep pressing F2 to enter the BIOS, go to "Security", select SecureBootControl and press enter to disable it; ;
2. Then switch to "Boot", select LaunchCSM to enter, change it to Enabled, and press F 10 to save and restart;
3. Insert the U disk PE startup disk, restart and press ESC to select the U disk startup item without UEFI, and press Enter;
4. Select Run pe System from the U disk menu, open the DiskGenius partition tool under the pe system, convert the hard disk into MBR format, and then partition it quickly.
Second, Lenovo notebook to modify the BIOS steps
1, press F 1 or F2 all the time when booting (some models need to press Fn at the same time) to enter the BIOS interface;
2. Under exit, select OSOptimizedDefaults and press enter to change it to disabled or other; ;
3. Then select LoadOptimalDefaults to enter and load the settings;
4. Enter startup or boot, change CSM to Enabled, change BootMode to Legacy, and finally press F 10 to save the changes;
5. Insert the startup USB flash drive, press F 12 or Fn+F 12 after restarting to open the startup menu, select the USB flash drive to be started, open the DiskGenius partition tool after entering pe, and convert the hard disk into MBR format.
This is the way to set the traditional boot mode in BIOS. Generally, uefi is written in BIOS settings. Just change uefi to legacy. SecureBoot, if present, must be disabled.
