The dress system of the Republic of China did not make specific provisions for the people's clothing, and the people's clothing was still mainly Chinese, but with fewer restrictions on the "different levels, identifying the noble and the lowly", the freedom of people's clothing increased.

The first reform of the clothing system in the early Republic of China,
