Note: Chinese musical instrument nouns are not used with articles: erhu (Erhu).
The following categories of nouns are not used with the:
1. Nouns indicating the names of disciplines, such as Chinese, Mathematics and Physics.
2. Nouns representing seasons, months and weeks, such as spring, January and Sunday.
3. Nouns expressing titles, nationalities, countries and cities, such as President, English, China and Peking.
