Longdong shadow play

Longdong Shadow Play is an intangible cultural heritage in Gansu Province. Longdong Shadow Play is the product of the fusion of Qin Long culture and surrounding ethnic cultures, and the combination of ancient Taoist feelings and shadow play. Legend has it that it was born in the Song Dynasty, and the Han people commonly call it "Lantern Shadow Play", "Little Play" and "Old Love". In the development and evolution of thousands of years, she adopted the means of "telling stories by means of lamps, film transmission and dubbing", "condensed the achievements of Chinese shadow play and absorbed the essence of local Taoist feelings and folk art", integrating folk music, art and oral literature, and became the talk capital of local people. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, especially a generation of shadow puppetry masters, Xie Changchun's careful imitation, inheritance and innovation carried this art forward and pushed it to the peak.

Qingyang City is rich in resources, and sachets, embroidery, paper-cutting, Taoist shadow play and Longdong folk songs can be called "five wonders" in Qingyang. The Han folk culture, represented by sachet embroidery, has a long history and profound foundation, and enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad.

Since 2002, Qingyang City has successfully held the sachet folk culture festival based on rich folk culture traditions, created Qingyang sachet business cards, cultivated key folk enterprises, trained folk art talents, promoted folk culture industry, opened up a broad sales market, and greatly improved Qingyang's popularity and influence. Qingyang has been awarded more than ten titles by China Folklore Society and China Folk Arts and Crafts Committee, such as "hometown of sachet embroidery", "hometown of folk paper cutting", "hometown of cave dwelling houses", "hometown of bare-handed yangko", "hometown of lotus dance", "hometown of Zhou farming culture" and "hometown of shadow play".

In 2008, it was named "National Demonstration Base of Cultural Industry" by the Ministry of Culture, and in 20 1 1, the companies where two national intangible cultural heritage projects were located were named "National Demonstration Base for Productive Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage" by the Ministry of Culture.
