The common use and playing method of gongs and drums in Beijing opera is the cross ensemble of big gongs, small gongs and cymbals, with strong or weak volume, which is used to match the general movements of entering and leaving the stage and to strengthen the tone when chanting. 3. Beating gongs and drums: the right hand swings the wrist to exert force, and the ulna and radius of the forearm rotate around the wrist, and the small gong is struck with the tip of the lower part of the small gong board. Make a clear, watery gong sound.
