Which country does this deer come from?
The ancestor of deer was discovered in Inner Mongolia, China at the end of Eocene, belonging to the genus Elucid. The characteristics of their ancestors are similar to those of omnivorous elk existing in tropical rain forests in Africa and Asia, so deer evolved from ancient elk. Since Oligocene, primitive deer ancestors have appeared in Asia. They have no horns on their skulls, long and low skulls, curved backs, short tails, slender limbs and feet, and the two metacarpals and bones in the middle are healed. There are four toes, but the lateral toes are degenerated, and only the middle phalanx works. During the evolution of deer, the size of deer tends to increase, and the male individual has horns on his skull. Elk deer began in Miocene, and their development reached its peak in Pleistocene, which continued until modern times.
Deer were regarded as sacred objects in ancient China, and people believed that deer could bring people good luck, happiness and longevity. In ancient China mythology, the birthday girl, that is, invivo Jun, rode a white-lipped deer. In China's traditional birthday paintings, deer are often accompanied by birthday stars to wish a long life. As far as pronunciation is concerned, deer is homophonic with the word "deer". In auspicious patterns, deer is often used to express the meaning. Fu or Lu means one of the folk "Five Blessingg"-Fu, Lu, Shou, Fu and Cai.
