The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Festival of Reunion, is one of the three traditional festivals of our Chinese nation. On this day every year, families are reunited and get together to eat mooncakes and enjoy the moon.

Today, my father bought a lot of moon cakes. The mooncakes were big, round and beautiful! I was drooling. My father said, "We should eat the mooncakes only at night, and it's most fun to eat them and enjoy the moon at the same time."

After dinner, the moon gradually rose, today's moon is especially full, like a jade disk, hanging high in the sky. I sat around with my dad and mom as a family. Dad took out the mooncakes, I divided them and gave them to mom and dad first, then I took a big bite. "Yikes! It smells so good, it's so delicious." Dad ate the moon cake while telling me the story of the moon cake, saying that Zhu Yuanzhang and the moon cake's origin, the moon inside the Guanghan Palace, Wu Gang, osmanthus tree, and Chang'e sister and so on, I was so enthralled that I almost forgot to eat the moon cake.

Is there really a Chang'e inside the moon? I thought as I looked up at the moon. The moon is so beautiful! I really want to run to the moon and eat it with sister Chang'e
