What are the modes of e-commerce?
There are many classifications of e-commerce modes, among which the most basic and common modes are B2B (business-to-business), B2C (business-to-consumer) and C2C (consumer-to-consumer). B2B mode is the exchange of products, services and information between enterprises through the Internet. In layman's terms, it refers to the process that both the supply and demand sides are merchants, and complete business transactions by using Internet technology or various business network platforms. B2C mode is that merchants sell products and services directly to consumers.
In addition, there is C2B (consumer-to-business), that is, customers and businesses agree on the price; O2O(Online to Offline) means online purchase and offline experience consumption; B2Q (business-to-queue), BOB (business-to-business) and the new F2C (factory-to-consumer) model. These models have their own characteristics and advantages, and may be further subdivided in actual operation.
Generally speaking, the diversity of e-commerce models provides broad development space and unlimited possibilities for all kinds of enterprises, which makes e-commerce play an increasingly important role in economic life.
