Guangrao Martyrs Cemetery was founded in 1954. In May 2008, with the approval of the Provincial Civil Affairs Department, the county party committee and the county government implemented the relocation project of the martyrs cemetery originally located in the urban area, which was completed and accepted in September 2009. The project covers an area of 180 mu, with a construction area of more than 4,000 square meters and a total investment of 30 million yuan. In order to further enhance the function of the patriotic education base in the county martyrs' cemetery, from 2065438 to March 2005, our county invested 3 million yuan to renovate and upgrade the Chen Zhan, the memorial hall of the martyrs' cemetery, which has more concrete and obvious social education significance and benefits.

1976, Guangrao Martyrs Cemetery was listed as a county-level key cultural relics protection unit, and in 20001year, it was listed as a provincial key martyrs memorial facility protection unit. In recent years, it has been successively rated as an advanced unit of civil administration system in the whole province to create a civilized industry, a national defense education base in the whole province, a patriotic education base in Dongying City, a demonstration base of mass line education of the Party in Dongying City, and a garden-style unit in Dongying City.
