Where does Chen Wu Village belong?

Chen Wu Village is located in the southeast of Xikou Town. It has jurisdiction over 7 natural villages, 8 villagers' groups, 2 13 households and 878 people. The village is 320 meters above sea level and has a pleasant climate. All natural villages are beside the West Lake Highway, with convenient transportation and close to the Dayangba market, which makes farmers' transactions very convenient. The village covers an area of 2335 1 mu, including 735 mu of cultivated land and 9352 mu of forest land. Farmers' economic income mainly depends on forest and bamboo, farmland planting and working in cities or running enterprises. In addition, Hongyan Russula is famous for its high quality and unique flavor, which has become a major feature of Chen Wu Village. In 20 13 years, the per capita net income of villagers was nearly 9000 yuan.

There is a county-level cultural relic in the village-the former site of Minxi Red Army Hospital (formerly known as Dayangba Earth Building, that is, Chen Wu Fuxing Building), which covers an area of 1.462 square meters and a construction area of 5649.5 square meters. Built in 1 780, it has a history of 232 years and is well preserved so far. It is not only the essence of ancient architecture, but also a modern revolutionary cultural relic. In the war against "encirclement and suppression" that year, thousands of Red Army patients were treated here, which has become a local revolutionary traditional education base. 1June, 986, Chen Wu tulou was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Chen Wu Village is adjacent to Dayangba Village, Dangfeng Village, Sanxi Village, Jinfang Village, Hua Shuang Village, Shiming Village, Dafeng Village, Yunshan Village, Dahou Village and Dalian Village.

On February 20th, 2020, the list of the third batch of provincial-level traditional villages in Fujian Province was released, and Chen Wu Village was on the list.

There are some tourist attractions near Chen Wu Village, such as the former site of the Soviet government in western Fujian (Mingdetang), the historical site of the red traffic line (Yanlou), the former site of the red traffic station in Gaozhaikeng, the former site of the red traffic station in Shangsanxi (Shangdetang), the former site of the red traffic station in Kengkou (Yichuntang), and there are Xikou tangerine, Shanghang Huaizhu, Shanghang Wu Mei and Shanghang radish.
