How to arrange fish tank filtration

The key to raising fish well is filtration, and filtration mainly filters fish feces, and toxins in water are produced by fish feces. At present, the common aquarium filtration systems mainly include upward filtration, trickle filtration, bottom filtration, filter barrel, side filtration and reverse filtration. These filtration systems have different forms, but they are essentially the same. They are all filtration systems that cultivate nitrifying bacteria outside the tank. In other words, the fish must be extracted into those filters for nitrification, and the ammonia in the fish manure can be removed. These filtration systems need the water flow in the water tank to pump most of the fish feces into the filter body. Usually, they need to be used with wave-making pumps. When the wave pump works, fish will float in the whole fish tank, and it takes time to filter these water bodies. During this period, some fish will dissolve in water, and polluted water will increase the content of ammonia, so fish are easy to get sick. Therefore, it is often necessary to suck fish manure out with straws in time and change water frequently to reduce the burden of filtration, which increases the difficulty and workload of maintenance.

Most common tap water filters are cylindrical containers made of stainless steel or enamel, which are completely sealed, filled with activated carbon or ion exchange resin, and equipped with three supporting feet at the bottom, which are very stable on the ground. The filter is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet, the upper part and the bottom are covered with a sponge layer, and filtering materials such as activated carbon or ion exchange resin are placed in the middle. Using the adsorption capacity of filter material, the effect of rapid chlorine removal and water hardness reduction can be achieved. When the tap water filter is used, tap water enters from the bottom water inlet and slowly passes through the inner filter material layer. During the whole filtration process, tap water is completely immersed in the filter material, and the filtered water flows out from the top water outlet. In order to ensure the safety of the filtered water, the tap water flowing into the bottom should be very slow, so that the tap water has sufficient contact time with the filter material, and its water volume is very small, just like tiny raindrops, flowing downstream.

At present, there is a simple set of equipment, that is, choose a coca-cola bottle filled with activated carbon, one end of which is connected to a tap water pipe and the other end is connected to a water storage tank, so that tap water can slowly flow down to make it drip or flow out, and fish can be raised after being put aside for a short time.
