Peony buds are as big as hazelnuts. How long before it blooms?
Peony is suitable for popularization and cultivation. By controlling the temperature, it can bloom on New Year's Day and Spring Festival. The method is to pot peony 35 ~ 60 days before the festival, move it into the greenhouse, gradually raise the temperature, open the window for ventilation at 20 ~ 25℃ during the day, and increase the relative humidity at night10℃ ~ 25℃; Apply dilute fertilizer solution every 10 day, or spray 0.2% ~ 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the leaves as topdressing. If the flower buds don't germinate, use 300 ppm ~ 500 ppm gibberellin solution to accelerate the germination, so that the flowers can bloom in 60 days at most and 40 ~ 45 days later. If the flowers bloom in advance, the potted flowers can be moved into a low temperature room (5 C ~15 C) for temporary storage.
