In language teaching how to cultivate students' creative and practical ability

Anxi nine Ye Liangfu

Central Committee of China ****, the State Council, "on deepening education reform and comprehensively promote the quality of education decision" pointed out that: "the implementation of quality education, is to comprehensively carry out the party's education policy, in order to improve the quality of the nation as the fundamental purpose, in order to cultivate the innovative spirit of the students and the ability to practice as the focus." It can be seen that cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability is the core of quality education. As teachers, we should endeavor to implement it into the teaching of this subject. So, in terms of secondary school language teaching, how to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability? Below, combined with my personal teaching experience, to talk about a few superficial views, for reference only.

One, cultivate students' interest in learning, create a good learning atmosphere is to cultivate innovative thinking and practical ability of the starting point.

Confucius said: "Those who know are better than those who are good, and those who are good are better than those who are happy." "Interest is the best teacher", the existence of interest in learning is the starting point of one's quest for knowledge and the driving force of the spirit of innovation. If a student is not interested in the language course at all, how can we talk about the cultivation of innovation and practical ability? Therefore, starting from interest, stimulating students' strong desire for knowledge and passion, and letting students learn in a relaxed and harmonious environment is the basis for inspiring students' innovative thinking and improving their practical ability.

1, stimulate interest and protect students' desire for knowledge.

A good start is half of success. In classroom teaching should pay special attention to the use of the first few minutes of class to create a good classroom atmosphere. For example, storytelling and other active atmosphere before class to enhance the interest of the language classroom, triggering students' desire for knowledge.

So, how to cultivate their interest? First, we should be good at discovering their flashpoints from the many shortcomings of the students, and recognize their every little success in time, so that the students can experience the joy of success, and let them understand that learning the language is not a difficult thing. Because success can make students produce confidence, because of confidence, the desire to learn will be enhanced. Therefore, as a teacher should give every student a chance to succeed. On the one hand, we should pay attention to the language of each student's nearest development zone, so that they can jump up to pick the "peach", to avoid exceeding the limits of the students' ability, and the phenomenon that they are often frustrated. On the other hand, play the students' strengths and hobbies, create conditions to meet their desire to perform, so that they tap their potential to enjoy the joy of success, and other aspects of success as a base to guide them to the language migration. The second is to reduce the burden of students' learning, reduce the pressure of test scores on them, so that they can learn easily and happily. Excessive burden of learning and pressure of scores are more than students can bear, which is one of the main reasons leading to students' boredom of learning. Some teachers, especially some language teachers, in order for students to consolidate knowledge and master the words they have learned, set up a large number of mechanical homework, copy the words a dozen times or dozens of times. In fact, this will not consolidate and strengthen students' knowledge. On the contrary, it is bound to make students dissatisfied. Therefore, we must abandon the ineffective practice, to do more with less, and receive twice the result with half the effort. At the same time, it is also necessary to dilute the awareness of scores, and students' learning should not be measured by scores as the only criterion. In addition, the class, the teacher as much as possible with the rhythm, rich tone, funny and humorous, full of inducement or suspense language, and with rich expression and gestures to organize the classroom teaching, can give students to create an open and loose teaching environment. In a harmonious and relaxed classroom atmosphere, can make students with a relaxed and happy mood into learning, bold speech, active thinking, and constantly produce accumulation, perception, the desire to use.

2, create scenarios to maintain students' interest.

We create a harmonious and democratic atmosphere, create a situation to stimulate the desire to know, let students to think, to explore, to discover, creative learning, the fundamental foothold of education from the transfer of knowledge to the development of potential. A person's personality and creativity has a close connection, to create a loose atmosphere for the free development of personality, is to cultivate creativity is an essential and important conditions. For example, in the teaching of "spring" in this lesson, before the class arranged for students to find their favorite poems about spring. In class, students were asked to read these beautiful poems aloud with emotion. With the teacher's prompting, the spring scenery seemed to be presented in front of the students' eyes, and through the guidance of the poem's mood, the students entered the spring environment. In this environment, students can naturally understand the text better. It is also possible to create scenarios by allowing students to imagine boldly. For example, when I taught Meng Haoran's poem "Past the Old Man's Village", in order to let the students experience the poet's love of rural life and the poet's deep friendship with the host, I let the students to boldly imagine the poet and his friends "talking about mulberry and hemp" when the scene. In addition to "talking about mulberry," what else did they say? Why did the poet also "come back to the chrysanthemums"? After the students thought about it, some of them said: "The poet also talked with the host about the good weather this year, which is a good harvest year"; some of them said: "The poet talked with the host about the past"; and some of them said: "The poet came to enjoy the chrysanthemums uninvited, which shows that he loves chrysanthemums, and also shows that he used to love the chrysanthemums. chrysanthemums, and also that he may have drunk chrysanthemum wine with his host before." Creating scenarios for them to freely display their personalities and keep their interest in learning languages, the internal drive to learn will naturally increase gradually. In my practice, I believe that creating more realistic scenarios in the classroom helps to maintain students' interest. Through such activities to maintain the students' interest in learning, but also to improve the students' creative thinking and practical ability.

Two, active questioning is the key to stimulate innovative thinking and develop practical ability.

The ancients said: "Read the beginning of reading, unknown doubt. Secondly, it is gradually doubtful, in which is often doubtful. After some of this, the doubt gradually solve, to the integration, are no doubt, the beginning of learning. The famous educator Finkoff also pointed out that "teaching students to think is the most valuable asset in a student's life." Many examples in ancient and modern times and foreign countries have long proved that only good thinking, dare to ask questions, there will be academic progress, career success, inventions and creations. To stimulate students' memory learning motivation, guide them to actively explore new knowledge, prompting them to complete the transformation from "learning" to "learning", and improve the efficiency of language teaching. In my opinion, we must break through the "teachers ask, students answer" injection mode of teaching, change the teacher "self-setting doubts" for students "active questioning", so as to form a "students ask, teachers and students". "Students ask, teachers and students answer" classroom teaching atmosphere, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students, to play its wisdom, the classroom is really back to the students. "Doubt" is the students in the initial understanding of the content of the text on the basis of the text do not understand, do not understand the problem put forward, to be under the guidance of teachers **** with the solution. Guiding students to question, is to guide students to open their minds, prompting them to ask questions, so that they in the "thinking" and "ask" excited state of learning. As students have a different understanding of the material, they put forward a wider range of questions, more varied content, often lack of typicality. In view of this, in teaching, teachers should make full use of their leading role to help students ask quality questions, consciously establish a "question" atmosphere. Students raise questions, teachers should be able to find their thinking methods, the ability to analyze the problem, and learning deficiencies, and give timely targeted guidance. Teachers should be based on the characteristics of students' thinking, revealing the law, for students to ask questions to lead the way for students to think positively to create conditions for students to cultivate the practical ability of students. For example, when teaching the article "Kong Yi Ji", we can guide the students in this way: "As the flag bearer of modern literature, Lu Xun, the ideas and skills of his works are indeed superior, however, sometimes it is puzzling, students in reading "Kong Yi Ji", will certainly find some difficult to understand, and now might as well put them forward, so that we can all discuss together a bit." The students will then ask many questions such as the following. Why is the pattern of the Luzhen Hotel introduced at the beginning of the novel? Is "I" Lu Xun himself? What is the significance of writing "I" in the work? Is Kong Yijie "about" or "indeed dead"? What is the author's intention in ending the work in this way?) Kong Yi Ji is a tragedy, but there is not a single word "sadness" in the whole text, what is the word that runs through the whole text? What is the author's intention of arranging the clues in this way? How do you understand how various people make fun of Kong Yi Ji? ...... In this way, once the students found the problem and raised questions, they will take the initiative to think and study, and unconsciously improve the spirit of innovation and practical ability.

Of course, the way to guide students to be more skeptical and ask more questions is also very rich, it covers any aspect of the words, phrases, sentences, and chapters in the article, which can be asked individually or questioned by a group; it can be raised orally or reported in writing. In short, let the problem into the classroom, strengthen the problem consciousness, guide students to think and ask more questions, is to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability of an effective way.

Third, bold speech, express their voices is to cultivate students' individuality thinking focus.

In real life, in the face of the same problem, the benevolent see benevolence, the wise see wisdom, the so-called "a thousand readers have a thousand Hamlets" is the truth. The same reason, for the same problem often have many kinds of solutions. What's more, someone has said that "human creativity comes from out-of-the-box thinking." Therefore, in teaching, we must guide students to break the routine, spread thinking, emphasizing the thinking of the problem to have a high degree of autonomy, uniqueness, have a distinctive personality color, personality strengths, individual advantages of independent creativity, not a cloud of people, follow the dust of others, but a diverse search for information and personalized expression of the problem. The use of this way of thinking, you can get rid of the traditional habits of confinement, break through the conventional constraints, put forward new and unique insights, express their own voice. Therefore, teachers should be good at discovering students' flashpoints, care for students' free imagination, awaken students' intellectual potential, stimulate students' ambition to explore, encourage students to speak boldly, motivate students' self-esteem and self-confidence, and self-improvement of thinking and even the spark of inspiration and innovation, will be in the self-esteem, self-confidence in the back of the flash. For example, when teaching the lesson of "My Uncle Yule", when summarizing the theme, let the students fully understand the author's life and the author's social background when writing this article. Students will come up with two, three or even more different views through imagination and association. At this time, the teacher is guided by the situation to guide the students to analyze and explore on their own, and use what they have learned to find the answer to the question, which fully develops the students' language diffusion thinking ability and individuality thinking ability.

Four, carry out extracurricular practical activities, is to cultivate students' innovative and practical ability to have another important means.

The extension of language learning is equal to life, the cultivation of innovation needs an open environment, so we have to change the small classroom for the big classroom, to let students in the big classroom to fully develop their creative talents, consciously let the students to become the master of the activities, they may give full play to their strengths, to meet their desire to participate in the activities of interest. The implementation of quality education in primary and secondary schools has two main channels: in-class and extra-curricular. To carry out extracurricular activities is conducive to the combination of students' hands and brains, the application of knowledge to the practical, give full play to the students' strengths, cultivate individuality, and promote all-round development, which is one of the important channels for the implementation of quality education. So in language teaching, how to carry out extracurricular activities? One is to set up various interest groups, such as reading groups, composition groups, calligraphy groups, reading corner, etc., so that students can develop their abilities in their respective group activities. The second is to organize a variety of activities, such as speech contests, poetry recitals, storytelling sessions, exhibitions of outstanding essays, and so on, so that every student can participate. In these activities, exercise their abilities. Thirdly, the controlled and selective introduction of a thousand kinds of social information into the campus, and the planned guidance of students out of school, to nature, to the colorful society, so that they step to know nature and society. Such as picnics, social surveys and other comprehensive practical activities. Let students produce a sense of personally engaged in transforming the world, experience and confirm their own creativity. For example, in the first book of the ninth grade comprehensive learning "rain" activity class, before the class, the students were divided into three groups to prepare for the activity, the first group: "listen to my footsteps". Let the students listen to the sound of rain in different time and space, deep into the corners of the natural and humanistic landscapes to collect the sound of rain, recorded with a tape recorder (with the conditions of the video camera can also be used), ready to play in the classroom and described to the class. Group 2: "Tell me about my merits and demerits." Let the students go to the library or the Internet to find information about the benefits and disasters that rain has brought to human beings; they can also expand on this, such as the different forms of rain in different regions and seasons; the various peculiar phenomena of rain and their causes. Group 3: "Read my rhymes". Have students collect literary works or fragments written about rain and prepare brief comments, prepare music and read them out with music in class. You can also collect thematic works, such as a collection of ancient poems written about rain, rain in novels and dramas; works written about rain in spring, summer, fall, and winter; rain in various states of mind, such as joyfulness, melancholy, excitement, and desolation. Group 4: Appreciate and comment on songs about rain--especially popular songs that students like. Collect related works and analyze how they write and sing about rain. Group 5: Organize a rain photography and painting exhibition. Poetry and paintings can be used to match and add to the mood. Such a planned and organized colorful language activities, due to the novel content and lively form of the activities, as well as independent and autonomous, it shows a strong vitality. In the activities, students are not bystanders but active participants, thus cultivating an interest in learning languages. And in practice, students give full play to the spirit of innovation, so that the students' creative ability and practical ability to develop harmoniously.

In short, the cultivation of students' innovative and practical abilities cannot be accomplished overnight, but requires long-term accumulation. The new curriculum requires innovative teachers, and if teachers are not able to always teach new things, it is impossible to cultivate students with strong innovative and practical abilities. Therefore, we should also continue to enrich themselves, so that they really become a new type of teachers to adapt to the new curriculum.
