At the fourth meeting of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, held from September 28 to October 2 this year, China declared the Duanwu Festival, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Seal Engraving, Chinese Paper Cutting, Chinese Engraving and Printing Techniques, Chinese Traditional Wooden Structure Building Techniques, Chinese Traditional Mulberry Silk Weaving Techniques, Longquan celadon traditional firing techniques, Mazu beliefs, Nanyin, Nanjing brocade weaving techniques, the traditional production of Xuan paper, Dong opera, Cantonese opera, Gesar, Rhegong art, Tibetan opera, Manas, flowers, Xi'an drums, China's Korean Nonglei Dance, hu mai, and other 22 projects were selected as "Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity "Qiang Nian, Li traditional spinning, dyeing, weaving and embroidery techniques, the traditional construction of wooden arch bridges in China, and other three projects were selected as the "List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding".
