Difference between extended range and plug-in hybrid vehicle

I think extended-range electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles are both new energy vehicles. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and extended-range electric vehicle have their own advantages in fuel consumption, power source, endurance and cost. Plug-in hybrid vehicles are more suitable for long-distance and high-speed driving, while extended-range electric vehicles have more advantages in short-distance driving in urban areas.
