1. K?nigsberg Meatballs (K?nigsberger klopse)

As a famous German regional specialty, this dish is named after the Prussian city of K?nigsberg, which was annexed by the Soviet Union in the Second World War and renamed the current city of Kaliningrad, and as such German officials changed the official name of the dish to Kochklopse (boiled meatballs) to avoid mentioning the city, although it can still be found in most German restaurants under the traditional name K?nigsberger klopse.
