Is bazi meat from Xuzhou or Jinan
The bazi meat is from Jinan. Braised pork is a traditional Shandong dish in Jinan. As early as the Qing Dynasty, there was a saying in Shandong that pork belly was tied with straw rope and stewed with soy sauce. Its taste melts instantly, fragrant but not greasy. It is also stewed with other side dishes, such as Spanish mackerel, Four Joy Meetballs, fried tofu slices, dried orchids, green peppers, kelp knots, gluten, bean skin, yuba, rotten clothes, vegetarian chicken slices, tiger skin eggs and chicken legs. And the meat is cooked with soy sauce without salt. The origin of bazi meat, on the one hand, is related to ancient public sacrifices, on the other hand, Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei all want to drink "bazi meat" wine, so pork, tofu, eggs and other ingredients are cooked in a pot. Later, everyone called this stewed pork belly pork belly.
