5. Turn on the TV and receiver. Turn on the TV and switch to the correct input signal. You should be able to see the startup screen of the receiver. Turn on the receiver and use the remote control to set the signal source and any necessary options.

6. When finished, you should have successfully connected the old TV and receiver. You can use the remote control to select channels or change settings.
