How to make flour and honey balls

1． Hand-made pills: This method is often used to make honey pills. The method is to first dip the palms of both hands into the pill oil and rub it evenly, put the pill lumps in both palms, and rub them back and forth with the palms of the little fingers. It is required that the thickness of the pill strips should be consistent, and then roll it into appropriate pill strips in one go, and roll them into the shape of an incense stick. When holding pills, hold the pill strip with your left hand, pinch the pill with your thumb and index finger, and move the pill strip forward at any time, and round it with the thumb and index finger of your right hand. Repeat this operation to form small honey pills.

To make honey pills, in order to have an accurate dose, pill molds, commonly known as quanzi (the molds range in size from two cents to four cents), are generally used to make pills. The method is to hold the pin in the left hand and the pill strip in the right hand. After pressing the full pin, pinch it flat with the big finger of the right hand to break the pill strip. Push the living handle of the model with the four fingers of the left hand, and press the mold bowl down with the thumb finger to break the pill. Fall on the case and do this repeatedly.

During operation, the mold should be kept clean, and then be coated with pill oil to avoid adhesion. The prepared pills can be rounded with the palm of your hand dipped in pill oil, which is the finished product.

2. Pill making with a pill rubbing board: The pill rubbing board has two parts: the bottom plate and the pressing plate. When using, the inside of the board is first coated with an appropriate amount of pill oil to prevent adhesion; place the pill strips horizontally on the longitudinal grooves on the bottom plate, and then press the pressing plate. Use both hands to rub back and forth from light to heavy, and the pill strips will be cut off. At the same time, push the pressing plate back and forth, and the small pill pieces will be rolled into spherical pills.

3． Honey pill machine-made pills: There are two ways to use mechanical pill making. One is semi-mechanized. First, the pill strips are rolled by hand, and then placed in the machine to cut and knead into a complete pill shape; the other is to close the pills. The pellets are placed in the pellet funnel, and the pellets are extruded (the diameter and thickness of the pellets are determined according to the requirements of the pill shape) to the appropriate length, automatically cut off, rolled into the pellet cutting groove, cut into small pieces, and then Automatically knead and roll into pill shape.

4. Honey-water-flooded pills: Take an appropriate amount of honey, add cold boiled water, and make pills using the same method as water-flooded pills.

The above four methods, the production efficiency of manual pill making is low, but it is suitable for making honey pellets. Pill making using a pill rubbing board is currently widely used and has high production efficiency. It is the main method for manufacturing honey pills. Mechanical pill making is highly efficient and suitable for mass production. Honey water pills are only used in some areas in the south.
