Historical origin of Jabbing Foot

It is a northern fist. It is rumored that Zhao Yican, a general of the Taiping Army, left this fist in Rao Yang, Hebei Province, when he lived there. Poking Foot is a type of fist that has been gradually enriched and perfected on the basis of the Eight Trips of Vajra Frame, Eight Trips of Vajra Punch and the "Jade Ring Steps" and other techniques. Because of the strength of the leg, it is known as "the best of the northern leg".

The full name of this style is "Jiu Fan Royal Steps Mandarin Ducks Hook and Loop Hanging and Poking Feet". This fist is divided into cultural and martial arts trips. Its routine changes are evolved from the eight basic potential. "Nine times" means that there are nine ways for Wen and Wu trips; "Royal Steps" is a typical footwork for poking feet; "Hook and Loop" means that each move is either attacking or defending, interlocking and connecting. Jabbing feet mostly take a false step to stand, move the hands and feet all together, the force of the feet more hanging up, so there is a "hanging" of the name, and when striking, the left and right swap, into a double spouse and alias "mandarin ducks feet". Later generations to "Wu Tuanzi" for the leg work, to the main body of the flip-fist melted into one furnace and formed a "poke foot flip-foot".
