Shuguang Hospital affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is divided into two parts, the west is located at Pu 'an Road 185, covering an area of 28 mu, and the east is located at No.528 Zhangheng Road, covering an area of 160 mu. It is a tertiary general hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Shanghai and a designated medical insurance unit.

In August, 20021,the Nursing Group of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine Department of Shuguang Hospital affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was selected as the 20th National Youth Civilization.

Historical development:

The predecessor of Shuguang Hospital was founded in 1906. Originally belonging to Fenghua, Cixi and other places in Ningbo, Siming Office is a small hospital opened in several old houses in Ningshouli, Baxianqiao, Shanghai. It can be traced back to the original prototype of the present hospital.

1September, 922, moved to Ailaige Road in the French Concession at that time, built a new house, and officially named it Siming Hospital.

1953 was renamed Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital.

1In August, 954, the only traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Shanghai at that time-Shanghai Eleventh People's Hospital was built in its south.
