What is sesame oil?
Linseed oil, also known as linseed oil, is an ancient edible oil, which is a fatty oil extracted from walnut seeds. Flax is naturally hardy and suitable for growing in cold and arid areas in the west and north.
The word "Hu" of flax refers to the ethnic minorities and regions in the northwest of China in ancient times, which shows that flax has grown in cold areas since ancient times. On June 20th, 2009, the national standard of People's Republic of China (PRC) linseed oil drafted by Hongjingyuan Oil Enterprise was promulgated and implemented.
Because flax is only suitable for growing in cold regions, it is rarely known by people in other places. Because of geographical restrictions, the output of linseed oil is not much, but the oil yield is very high. There are many wrong names about flax. In the southeast coast and other places, people have never seen flax or flax oil, so many people mistakenly call sesame oil flax oil.
Flax originated in the Mediterranean region and was introduced into the northwest minority areas of China in the Han Dynasty. Because of its unique habits, it can't grow in the tropics. In China, traditional flax is mainly distributed in the surrounding areas of Dingxi City, Gansu Province, Datong area in northern Shanxi Province, Zhangbei, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other places in northern Hebei Province.
