What kinds of chrysanthemums are there?

There are more than 3,000 varieties of chrysanthemums in China, which can be roughly classified according to the following methods.

(1) According to the changes of ligulate flowers, they can be divided into three types: flat petals, tubular petals and spoon petals.

(2) According to the flower head size, it can be divided into Xiao Ju strain and Chrysanthemum strain. Xiao Ju system can be divided into single petal, double petal, thin petal and tube spoon according to the change of petals. Chrysanthemum series can be divided into wide petal shape, spherical shape, lotus shape, rosette shape and peony shape according to flower shape.

(3) According to the flowering period, it can be divided into Xia Ju (flowering in June-July), Jujube Chrysanthemum (flowering in 9-65438+ 10-165438+10) and Hanju Chrysanthemum (/).

(4) According to the purpose of cultivation, it can be divided into five categories: potted chrysanthemum, independent chrysanthemum, erect chrysanthemum, cliff chrysanthemum and tower chrysanthemum.
