What kind of traditional culture education do we need?

What we need is normal, rational and traditional cultural education, not just moral kidnapping.

Nowadays, traditional culture education is not so much brainwashing as education, and what is more serious is moral kidnapping. I saw a lot of traditional culture education in mobile phone videos, also called Chinese studies education. I can always see some unknown social people in many schools giving lectures under the banner of traditional education, and the content of their lectures is even more contrary to the essence of traditional cultural education, such as the topic of filial piety. When the lecturer gave a lecture at school, he asked every student to kowtow and apologize to his parents on the spot. I don't know how big a mistake the child made, so I need to kowtow to my parents and apologize. This one-sided and excessive cultural education is not good for children's growth.

What we need more is the essence of culture. Children's filial piety to their parents can be expressed in various ways. There is no need to kowtow and admit your mistake. Parents are the children's relatives and friends, not the children's masters. So the culture we want to inherit should be healthy and rational. The culture left over from history is not necessarily worth inheriting. We should take the essence and discard the dross. Only in this way can we correctly and better inherit our traditional culture.
