Where does shooting Olympic champion Li Du come from?

Li Du (China female shooter and Olympic champion)

Li Du, born on March 5th, 1982, is an athlete of Chinese women's shooting team.

1994 started shooting training, 1996 entered Zibo Sports School in Shandong Province, 1998 joined the Shandong Provincial Team, and joined the national training team in 2002. In 2004 Athens Olympic Games, he won the champion of 10 meter air rifle, and won the first gold medal for China in Athens Olympic Games. In 2008, Beijing Olympic Games won the gold medal of 50m 3X20. On June 29th, 2009, Li Du and Pang Wei got married in Baoding, becoming the first Olympic champion couple in the sports history of new China.

On August 6th, 20 16, Li Du won the silver medal in the women's shooting10m air rifle event of Rio Olympic Games; On June 12, Li Du won the bronze medal in the women's 50m rifle three-position final. After the Olympic Games, Li Du officially announced his retirement.
