According to the Detailed Geotechnical Investigation Report of Qingdao Changhong Petrochemical Co., Ltd. provided by East China Petroleum Survey and Design Institute in May, 20001,the geotechnical layers within the pile length are as follows (see the investigation report for details):

The first layer of soil, artificial fill: consists of two sub-layers of plain fill and fly ash fill, with low degree of consolidation, saturation, underconsolidation and high sensitivity. The thickness is about 4m.

The second layer of soil, silty clay: saturated, fluid plastic ~ soft plastic, high compressibility and high sensitivity. The thickness is about 6.0m

The third layer of soil, silty clay: saturated, plastic and moderately compressed. The thickness is about 2.7m.

The fourth layer, completely weathered zone of soil and granite: saturated, plastic ~ hard plastic, belonging to medium ~ low shrinkage stratum. The thickness is about 3.1m.

Third, the choice of the main construction scheme

(a) the choice of construction technology:

According to the design requirements, the foundation of the raw material storage tank area of this project is treated with cement fly ash gravel pile (CFG pile for short) composite foundation. The main characteristics of CFG pile composite foundation different from pile foundation are: giving full play to the bearing capacity of soil between piles, so the disturbance of soil between piles should be reduced as much as possible during construction. According to the geological data of the engineering site, the upper stratum of the site is mainly composed of saturated, highly compressible and highly sensitive silty clay, which is greatly influenced by touch during construction. Therefore, in order to ensure the construction quality of piles, reduce the disturbance of soil between piles as much as possible, and ensure the smooth progress of this project, reasonable selection of mechanical construction technology is the key to the smooth progress of this CFG pile construction project.

In the original large-scale oil refining project (1993), the D400mm rammed gravel pile was selected as the foundation treatment scheme for the oil tank foundation construction on the north side of this project, and the sinking pipe was used for hole formation, pipe pumping and pipe jumping at intervals; Because the geology belongs to saturated cohesive soil, the pile quality cannot be guaranteed, with serious necking rate of 46% and shallow broken pile rate of 22%. After that, interval cement powder jet grouting piles and reinforced concrete piles are used for reinforcement.

At present, there are generally three kinds of CFG pile construction methods: vibrating sinking cast-in-place pile, long spiral bored pile and long spiral bored pile-pumped concrete pile. Among them, long spiral bored pile-pumped concrete pile has the characteristics of fast construction speed, high pile density, little influence of environmental noise and little influence on surrounding piles, and is especially suitable for highly sensitive strata below groundwater level. Pumping concrete underwater, pulling out pipes while pressing concrete, and replacing steel bars, which has strong penetration and high bearing capacity of single pile, will not be affected by the second layer of saturated and soft silty clay. And can meet the design bearing capacity requirements (single pile bearing capacity eigenvalue ≥600kN, composite foundation bearing capacity ≥2 10KPa), thus ensuring the pile quality.

CFG pile test pile

In order to ensure the engineering quality, according to the design requirements, two pools with representative geological conditions are selected as pile test areas, and each pile test area adopts three or single pile composite foundations.

Because the solution is to load heavy objects near the construction site, it is suggested to use anchor piles as reaction force. During pile test construction, reinforcement cages shall be placed on the anchor piles, and the layout of the test piles is as follows (see annex for attached drawings).

(2) Construction sequence:

Combined with the structural layout characteristics of CFG pile in raw material storage tank and the geological conditions on site, this project adopts the construction of pushing from the center to the outside (circular pile arrangement) or pushing from one side to the other (square or plum blossom grid pile arrangement). According to the specific situation, further, in order to minimize the disturbance of soil between piles, control the construction technology, find special circumstances, make specific changes, and adopt the construction method of interval jumping when necessary.

(3) Equipment selection:

Two KLB-75 hand-held long auger rigs are used; 2 QZ-60 concrete pumps; Type 500 forced mixer 1 set; 2 loader; 1 set of electric and gas welding equipment; Level, theodolite 1 platform and other supporting equipment.

(4) Construction technology:

CFG pile: positioning and setting out → starting the pile driver to align the pile position → leveling the pile driver and straightening the drill pipe → closing the drill bit valve, starting the hammer drill to the designed pile bottom elevation, stirring the mixture at the same time → starting the concrete pump to pour the material, and starting the winch to lift the drill pipe to the construction design pile top elevation → completing the pile → stopping moving to the next pile position.

(5) The construction method of the main division project:

(1). Positioning: Move the pile driver to the designated pile position and center it. When the ground is uneven, the pile legs or platform base should be adjusted to keep the pile driver base horizontal and the drill pipe vertical. Generally, the pile position error is less than 2.0CM, and the verticality deviation of drill pipe is less than 65438 0.5%.

(2) Drilling hole: close the drill bit valve, start the hoist to lower the drill pipe until the drill bit touches the ground, start the drill hammer, and rotate and sink the drill pipe to the design elevation of the pile bottom.

(3) Mixing of mixture: Mix the mixture according to the designed mixture ratio, strictly control the particle size of coarse aggregate, generally choose less than 10mm-30mm or less, add pumping agent and other additives when necessary, and the slump of the mixture should be180 mm-220 mm.

(4) Pouring and lifting: When the drilling rig reaches the bearing stratum of the pile, start the concrete pump to pour materials. When the conveying pipe and the drill pipe core pipe are filled with the mixture, start the winch to lift the drill pipe at a uniform speed, and lift it while pouring until the elevation of the pile top reaches the design and construction elevation. The lifting speed should be controlled at 2m/min-3m/min. Unplugging is strictly prohibited before filling. Grasp the time difference between pouring and lifting the drill pipe, and try to avoid lifting the pouring process. In flowing plastic soil, the drilling speed should be controlled to ensure the pile quality.

(5) Stop pouring the elevation of the pile top and move the machine to the next pile position: try to control the ash retaining surface of the elevation of the pile top and waste the mixture as little as possible under the condition of meeting the technical requirements.

Fourth, the construction period, schedule

This project plans to use two KLB-75 hand-held long auger rigs, and the construction will start after the construction contract is signed and the construction site has the conditions to start: 65,438 CFG piles are constructed in this project, with a total design length of 20,800.00 linear meters, and the task is planned to be completed in 30 days. The project manager presides over the overall leadership of pile foundation engineering, and is fully responsible for the personnel organization, material planning, construction arrangement and coordination of all links in the process of pile foundation construction and production, and is fully responsible for the construction period, quality and safety in the process of construction and production. Technology is responsible for cooperating with the project manager to do a good job in production technology, scientifically organize production and construction, lead other technicians to give full play to their respective technical advantages, formulate construction technology guarantee measures in detail, ensure project quality, improve production and construction efficiency, and actively cooperate with the construction unit, supervision unit and testing unit for project acceptance.

The quality supervisor is responsible for the sampling and inspection of raw materials, checking the pile position, inspecting and accepting the preparation, mixing and transportation of the mixture in time during the construction, and reporting the inspection situation and relevant information to the technical director in time, so as to deal with the existing problems in time and ensure the accuracy of the project construction.

The safety supervisor is responsible for checking the safe use of electricity on the construction site, and putting an end to hidden dangers in construction machinery and fire fighting. Organize employees to carry out safety education on a regular basis, and achieve "four don't let go" after the accident: First, the cause of the accident is unclear; Second, employees and those responsible for the accident have not been educated; Third, the rectification of hidden dangers of accidents is not in place; Fourth, the person responsible for the accident will not let go.

The material supervisor should strictly control the quality of all kinds of materials, and be responsible for planning the dosage of all kinds of materials to ensure timely supply. Materials supplied by the construction unit shall be collected in declare in advance in time.

Seven, the main material consumption plan

The mixture of CFG pile body is composed of cement, fly ash, crushed stone and a small amount of additives. The CFG pile material of this project is proposed to use 42.5R-grade slag portland cement, fly ash, crushed stone with particle size of 10mm-30mm and composite anti-freezing early strength agent.

CFG pile; 1600 trees, the design and construction length of the pile is 13.00m, the pile diameter is 600mm, and the total design length of this construction is 20800.00 m; About 764 1.58m3 of concrete is poured (the construction filling coefficient is considered as 1.3); The design requires that the standard value of bearing capacity of composite foundation fsp.k should not be less than 2 10Kpa. Under the condition that the selected materials should meet the requirements of corresponding standards and the mixture ratio has no laboratory data, according to the construction experience and conventional mixture ratio, the required material quantity is roughly analyzed as follows (according to the design requirements, the strength of CFG pile is ≥C 15, and the characteristic value of single pile bearing capacity is ≥600KN).

2. During the winter construction, an appropriate amount of anti-freezing early strength agent should be added during the mixing process of the mixture as required, and the construction water should be heated to prevent the slow progress of pipe plugging or pile quality problems caused by freezing.

3. Other anti-freezing and cold-proof measures should be taken in winter construction, such as water pipe insulation, special mechanical parts insulation, and workers' distribution of winter clothes.
