What are the lyrics of the nursery rhyme "Shake, shake, shake to Grandma's bridge"?
Version 1:
Shake, shake, shake to Grandma's bridge, Grandma calls me a good baby.
Sugar in a packet, fruit in a packet, Grandma bought a fish to cook.
The head of the fish is not cooked, the tail is burnt, the fish is squeaked in the bowl, and the fish is eaten in the belly.
Jumping, jumping, jumping, jumping to the bridge where the fish is sold, the baby is happy and laughing.
Version 2:
Shake, shake, shake to Grandma's bridge, Grandma called me a good baby.
Please eat the candy, please eat the cake, the candy, the cake, don't eat enough.
Eat less, taste more, eat more, taste less.
This one has a heavy moral component and was once selected for inclusion in elementary school Mandarin textbooks.
Version 3:
Shake, shake, shake to Grandma's bridge, Grandma called me a good baby,
I called Grandma a foreign bubble, and Grandma scolded me for being a little redneck!
"Grandma's Bridge" is a widely sung song and a great sleep song. The soft tune is hummed gently from the mother's mouth, accompanying the child sweetly into dreamland, and is a common tune used by mothers to put their babies to sleep.
Grandmother's Bridge, a stone arch bridge only 12 meters long and less than 3 meters wide, has a beautiful legend. Legend has it that a pair of sons and daughters of the Seven Immortals stayed in the mortal world to celebrate Grandma's birthday and traveled all the way to Yaolin to look for Grandma. When they passed by this place, they saw a deep and rapid stream blocking the way and were very anxious.
Then Lu Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals, was invited to attend the Peach Blossom Festival in Yaolin Fairyland, and happened to pass by, so he drew a big arc on the stream with his sword in his hand. In the blink of an eye, a stone arch bridge appeared on the water surface, which finally enabled the grandchildren to meet each other. Later, in order to commemorate the Queen Mother's love for her grandson and granddaughter, she named the bridge "Grandma's Bridge" and the village "Grandma's Home".
To this day, the hypnotic song of a mother putting her child to sleep is still circulating here: "Shake, shake, shake, shake to Grandma's Bridge, mom gives me rice cakes, grandpa says I'm a good baby, grandma hugs me with a squinty smile, and shoves me in a red paper bag, and even the food in the village is all with the word "grandmother" in it. Even in this village, everything we eat and use has the word "Grandma" in it, such as "Grandma's cake" and "Grandma's wine". The folklore adds a bit of charm to the Grandma Bridge.
