The Artistic Features of Shandong Bangzi

Shandong Bangzi is one of the traditional performances of China opera. Like other ancient operas in southwest Shandong, such as Liu Zi Opera, Heizi Opera and PingDiao, its performances are rough and exaggerated. For example, when the black face appears on the stage, raise your hands above your head and separate your fingers; When pushing the circle, the right hand pushes the circle and the left arm swings rhythmically; When expressing anger, impatience and other emotions, there are actions such as blowing beard and glaring, wearing live cheeks, shaking arms, stamping feet and touching arms. When other professions "push the circle", the action is different.

On Facebook, it changes according to the age of the characters, and even a character changes his face with the change of the plot in the same play. For example, in the scene of The Legend of the White Snake, Xiaoqing was played by a painted face, which changed three times in a row: first, painted face, then half painted face, half Zhang Jun face, and finally became a face. Shandong Bangzi's vocal music belongs to plate variation. Various sections are mainly composed of seven sentences and cross sentences. The basic boards in his singing are [Adagio], [Water Board], [Erba Board], [One Drum and Two Gong] and so on. Auxiliary trays include [lifting tray], [planting tray], [non-tray], [ringing bell], [reverse dialing] and [loud noise]. There are two main forms of plate application. One is the application of single plate, that is, according to the plot and the emotions of the characters in the play, a basic plate is selected as an independent aria, which is mainly suitable for lyrics with relatively simple emotions. The other form is the organic combination and transfer of different plates to form a large-scale complete set of vocals with obvious rhythm changes and distinct melody contrast, which is the main manifestation of Shandong Bangzi vocal music. Special tunes include "Killing the Body" (Crying Sword), "Twisting Running Water" (Orchid Mountain), "Door Panel" (Cosmic Front) and so on.

Commonly used turntables can be divided into four categories:

1 adagio Including Adagio, Medium Adagio, Hyphenated Adagio, Golden Hook, Shangwuyin and their derivatives Fan Er, Yi Zheng and Luo Yi.

(2) running water board. Including "running board", "jogging board", "running board", "a string of bells" and their derivatives, "grandfather scissors", "a warehouse receipt warehouse" and "an inverted board".

In addition to the above four types of boards, there are also "guide board", "crying sword", "challenge board", "three crying cavities" and "blowing cavities" for performing magic. The percussion music of Shandong Bangzi is basically the same as other Bangzi operas. Four fans (cymbals and cymbals) were used in the early days, but they stopped using in a short time. Commonly used gongs and drums are:

Phoenix Three Nods, Big and Small Starting Board, Big and Small Offenders, Fast and Slow Planting Board, Positive and Negative Understanding, Positive and Negative Rolling Head, Big and Small Cats' Head, Liancheng Tactics, Blowing Newspaper, Digging a Pit, Early Turtle, etc. Emergency wind, garlic hammer, raw blade, scab, all sides are silent, fake Balban, suona skin as the head, double stamping, moths to the fire, ghosts push the mill, underwater fish, inverted cows, and fat people.

In the past, when "getting through the noisy stage" before the performance, I knocked: as soon as I entered the board, I opened the stage (adding "carrying the burden") and knocked "what brocade". Mr. Zhang Yijun, a famous old artist handed down from the 35th generation of Shandong Bangzi, got the biography of his teacher, Mr. Wang Guiling (the 34th generation of Shandong Bangzi), and excavated and sorted out Shandong Bangzi qupai-"the best in the world".
