What is the difference between the teacher-student relationship in distance education and that in traditional education?

Compared with traditional classroom teaching, modern distance teaching has changed the role and status of teachers;

(1) In modern distance education, teachers have changed from the masters of traditional classroom face-to-face instruction to the instructors of students' autonomous learning;

(2) Teachers have changed from imparting knowledge in traditional classroom teaching to helping students build their own cognitive structure and develop their cognitive ability in modern distance education;

(3) Teachers have changed from monopolists of traditional teaching information resources to navigators of students' learning resources in modern distance education;

(4) Teachers have changed from users and producers of single media and simple teaching AIDS in traditional teaching to cooperative developers and users of computer multimedia teaching resources in modern distance education;

(5) Teachers' labor has changed from individual labor behavior in traditional teaching to group labor behavior based on independent thinking and intellectual labor in modern distance teaching.
