1. "Climbing to the Stork Tower"

Tang Dynasty: Wang Zhilu

The white sun ends at the mountains, the Yellow River flows into the sea.

Wanting to see a thousand miles, I climbed one floor higher.

Translation:

The setting sun slowly sinks against the western mountains, and the mighty Yellow River rushes toward the East China Sea.

If you want to see enough of the thousand miles of scenery and sights, you have to climb to a higher level of the city.

2. "Autumn on the Fen"

Tang Dynasty: Su Sorry

The north wind is blowing the white clouds, and 10,000 miles are crossing the river Fen.

The sound of autumn cannot be heard.

Translation:

The north wind is blowing the white clouds and making them tumble, and I want to cross the Fen River to a place ten thousand miles away.

My heart is sad and despondent, and when the grass and trees fall and wither, I don't want to hear this sluggish autumn wind any more.

3, "host Jiande River"

Tang Dynasty: Meng Haoran

Moving the boat to the smoky islet, the day twilight of the guests worry about the new.

The sky is open and the trees are low, the river is clear and the moon is near.

Translation:

Docking the boat on the smoky islet, new worries came to the heart of the guest at sunset.

The wilderness is boundless the distant sky is lower than the trees, the river is clear and the bright moon comes to be close to the people.

4. "Farewell in the Mountain"

The farewell in the mountain is over, and the firewood is covered at sunset.

The grass will be green next year, will the king's grandson return?

Translation:

When I saw my friend off in the mountains, the sun set and half covered the wood door.

Spring grass to the next year to catalyze the new green, friends ah can you return to return?

5, "Silent Night Thoughts"

Tang Dynasty: Li Bai

The light of the moon in front of the bed is suspected to be frost on the ground.

Translation:

The bright moonlight sprinkled on the windowpaper in front of the bed seems to be a layer of frost on the ground.

I could not help raising my head to look at the bright moon in the sky outside that day's window, and could not help bowing my head in contemplation, thinking of my distant hometown.
