What is the principle of high temperature disinfection?
The principle of high temperature sterilization is to destroy protein, nucleic acid and active substances in cells through high temperature, thus affecting the life activities of cells and destroying the active biological chain of bacteria, thus achieving the purpose of killing bacteria.
There are two kinds of high-temperature sterilization, moist heat sterilization and dry heat sterilization. Among them, dry heat sterilization methods include dry baking, infrared sterilization, microwave sterilization, incineration and so on. Generally speaking, the principle of dry heat sterilization is to dehydrate, dry and denature the macromolecules of cells through various channels, and then lose their activity and reproductive ability. Under normal circumstances, cells will lose their activity and die at 80 to 100 degrees Celsius.
