The current situation and development of information security in the field of virus
Currently, China's information security high-end market is mainly occupied by foreign vendors and a few strong domestic security vendors, including Cisco, Check Point, An, Weishitong, Qixingchen, etc. In 2019, there are 13 companies in China with annual revenue of more than 1 billion yuan from the network security business, accounting for 48.82% of the total revenue of the network security business, and the revenue of less than 100 million yuan is nearly 400, accounting for 10.66%, and the fragmentation of the competitive landscape is prominent. Firewalls are mainly dominated by foreign vendors, IDS/IPS domestic vendors are highly concentrated, and the terminal security management market pattern has not yet stabilized. From the perspective of vendors, Qixingchen, Blue Shield and other companies have a more comprehensive network security layout. From the regional pattern, Beijing ranked first in the number of network security enterprises, with 197 in 2019, and the second and third ranked cities were Shanghai and Shenzhen, with 34 and 32 network security enterprises in 2019.
Information security enterprises are widely distributed, and fragmentation is prominent
According to different enterprise users, the domestic information security market can be divided into the high-end market and the middle and low-end market. At present, the high-end market is mainly occupied by foreign vendors and a small number of strong domestic security vendors, including Cisco, Check Point, An, Weishitong, Qixingchen, etc.; the middle and low-end market consists of a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises and the public **** business sector, whose business processes are relatively simple, and the requirements for security are relatively low.
In 2019, there are 13 enterprises in China with annual revenues of more than 1 billion yuan in cybersecurity business, accounting for 48.82% of the total revenues of cybersecurity business, with an average revenue of 2.231 billion yuan; 94 companies with revenues of more than 100 million yuan***, accounting for 40.52% of the total, with an average revenue of 256 million yuan; nearly 400 companies with revenues of less than 100 million yuan, accounting for 10.66% of the total.
From the point of view of the proportion of each enterprise's revenue level, the network security market "no oligarchs, only vassals" pattern is obvious, while the phenomenon of fragmentation is very prominent. This situation is also similar to the pattern of the global network security market.
Firewalls are dominated by foreign vendors, IDS/IPS domestic vendors have a high degree of concentration, the terminal security management market pattern has not been stabilized
The information security products are mainly for the existing security problems, there are immediate protective effect, generally more general security protection products such as firewalls, IDP/IPS, VPN/SSL gateway, Identity authentication, Internet behavior auditing, etc. The layout of the major domestic security vendors' information security major essential products is as follows:
In 2019, the domestic traditional firewall market pattern, Cisco, Juniper and F5 respectively accounted for 55.7%, 16%, and 0.7% of the market share, and the domestic IDS/IPS market is mainly Qixingchen, GreenManager Technology as the main competitive force. At present, the main vendors in the domestic terminal security management market include: North Information Source, Symantec, Chianxin and so on. Due to the relatively large differences in the background of the vendors, their respective market entry angle is different, staggered competition is characterized by prominent, resulting in recent years, the market pattern changes very quickly, has not yet formed a stable market pattern.
Beijing has the largest number of cybersecurity companies, followed by Shanghai and Shenzhen
According to statistics, the top-ranked cybersecurity companies in each of China's provincial regions in terms of revenues are: Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Fujian, Shanghai, Shandong and Jiangsu. The top ten cities in terms of the number of cybersecurity enterprises are: Beijing (197), Shanghai (34), Shenzhen (32), Hangzhou (29), Guangzhou (14), Nanjing (14), Chengdu (13), Jinan (8), Xiamen (7), Fuzhou (7).
