Can the computer power supply and any kind of chassis be installed?

The computer power supply can't be installed on any chassis, and it needs to match the specifications.

Although the common PC power supplies are large and small, long and short, there are only three architectures, namely ATX, SFX and Flex.

ATX is a common large power supply in our general household chassis, and the length and width of its contact surface with the chassis are generally 150x86mm.

SFX is a newly emerging architecture. It is generally used in the so-called small steel gun main engine to provide sufficient power for the petite main engine. The length and width of its contact surface with the chassis are generally125 x 65 mm.

Flex architecture is a small 1U power supply used by servers, but some mini-chassis also use this power supply, and the length and width of its contact surface with the chassis are generally 82 x 40 mm

When choosing a power supply, we should first look at the power supply architecture standard suitable for the chassis, and also look at how much space there is in the chassis to avoid the power supply being too long.
