The jointing incubation period is the most water-demanding stage in the growth stage of wheat, so as to ensure that the soil in the field is moist without water, and the water will be discharged in the rainy season.
3. heading and flowering
When the flag leaf of wheat wraps the young spike and grows a leaf sheath, it indicates that it has officially entered the heading and flowering period. At this time, we should not only ensure sufficient water in the field, but also do a good job in pest control to avoid the decline of crop quality caused by diseases, which will lead to seedling death in severe cases.
4. Mature harvest
After the flowering of wheat, all nutrients will be transported to the ears of wheat. At this time, the nutrients in the grain will begin to accumulate and precipitate, and the endosperm will gradually take shape. When the endosperm becomes waxy and the grain hardens, it enters the mature stage and is harvested according to the weather conditions.
