What is micro-irrigation and what are its forms?
Micro-irrigation is an irrigation technology that transports water to the irrigation area through the pipeline system. Using the emitter installed on the last pipeline, the water needed by crops is directly transported to the soil near the roots of crops with a small flow. Micro-irrigation includes drip irrigation, micro-sprinkler irrigation, spring irrigation (or small tube outflow irrigation) and so on. Compared with traditional surface irrigation, micro-irrigation is a kind of local irrigation, which moistens part of the soil in the root area of crops with a small flow.
