Traditional Festivals of the Dulong People
The only festival of the Dulong people is the New Year's Day, which is celebrated in the month of Lunar New Year, with no fixed date, and the length of the festival depends on the amount of food available, which is called the "Kachuowo" festival.

The Dulong people call this festival "Kachuowo". It is the only festival of the year for the Dulong people. They celebrate December 29th as New Year's Eve and 30th as the first day of the New Year.
Legend has it that a long time ago, there were two brothers living on the banks of the Dulong River. They lost their parents when they were young, and took the old forest as their home, hunting with crossbows and spending their time in misery.
