2, the production process:

(1) the production of lantern skeleton.

Because it is a double hexagonal lantern, the most important thing is to build the skeleton, which can be divided into two parts:

First do the lower lantern skeleton. Cut 12 pieces of rectangular cardboard of the same size, vertical sequential splicing and paste firmly. The size of each piece of skeleton depends on the size of the lantern. This is considered a large lantern, and each piece of the lower skeleton is about the size of a regular greeting card.

Then make the upper lantern skeleton. Cut 12 rectangular pieces of cardboard of the same size, splice them horizontally and glue them firmly. Coordinate the size of each piece with the lower lantern skeleton.

(2) Upper and lower lantern external decoration

The lower lantern is the main part, the external decoration should be beautiful and shiny. Of course, bright red color is the best for lanterns. So use bright red cardboard to wrap and paste the six sides of the lower layer. 6 sides of the paste different patterns, respectively, 3 Year of the Sheep stickers and 3 three-dimensional flower-shaped greeting cards.

Bottom decoration of the lower lantern: use ready-made gold fortune stickers to seal the lower lantern decoration, and then put on a Chinese knot as the bottom hanging decoration.

Outer decoration of the upper lantern: print the auspicious blessings and auspicious cloud patterns on cardboard and paste them firmly. If the child likes, you can also put the lantern outside the colorful shiny diamond stickers. In the light of the illumination, the lantern is more sparkling and gorgeous.

Flying corners of the upper lantern: made of environmentally friendly materials - used paper rolls. The 6 flying corners of the upper lantern are decorated with homemade red spikes (tassels), which are pasted under the flying corners.
