Where do the traditional houses in Jessie Village belong?
The traditional houses in Jiexi Village are located in Jiexi Village, Weixi Sub-district Office, Xunxian County. It was the Qing Dynasty. The traditional folk houses in Jiexi Village are the seventh batch of cultural relics protection units in Henan Province.
Jiexi Village, Weixi Sub-district Office of Xunxian County, was formed in the Yuan Dynasty and in the Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty. The Grand Canal (Weihe River) is the main traffic artery in the west, and Qiufushan, which people worship, is in the south. For 600 years, the village has been the administrative, economic, commercial and cultural center of Xun County, which has played an important role in promoting the social development of Xun County.
There are a lot of traditional buildings in this village. There are many places of worship, such as Confucian Temple, Wangye Temple, Fushan Temple and Baiyige. The ancient ruins of the Ming city wall, ancient wells, canal docks and other attractions are dotted; Wonders such as "Mid-year Cold" and "Yunxi Yu Yan" have been included in the eight scenic spots in Xunxian County, with more than one hundred years old and famous trees 10. In addition, there are many intangible cultural heritages such as social fire in the village. A few days ago, the village was selected as a national traditional ancient village. 165438+ 10/day, the reporter went deep into the village to feel the rich history. Nanshan street with the most local characteristics
There are 26 existing ancient houses.
Among the many streets and lanes in Jessie Village, Nanshan Street has the most local characteristics, which can be described as "five steps to an ancient house, ten steps to a cultural relic".
According to villagers, before, the southern end of Nanshan Street was blocked by an intact city wall, which looked like a cloth bag. Pedestrians walking along this street from north to south can only return along the original road, so this street is vividly called "Bag Street". On a street about 700 meters long, 26 traditional ancient houses have been identified. From the gate of the village committee to the south, the reporter saw the Qin Family Courtyard, the former residence of Lubagong, the former residence of Lee and the former residence of Dow. Most of these houses are in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and they all have tall gatehouses and gates, giving people a sense of simplicity and elegance.
"Nanshan Street is the birthplace of Xunxian construction industry. Most of the residents here have been engaged in the construction industry for a living since ancient times, so the level of housing construction is relatively high. " Villager Li Junjie said.
Different from Nanshan Street, the West Street in Jessie Village is commercial, starting from Wenzhige, a provincial insurance company, in the east and reaching Xicheng Gate in the west, with a length of about 600 meters. Feng Guoxiang, a villager, told reporters that in ancient times, West Street was the main artery of north-south traffic in Xunxian County, and there was an endless stream of businessmen coming and going.
From the Ming Dynasty to the 1980s, West Street was the administrative, commercial and cultural center of Xun County. "After the founding of New China, the industrial departments located in Jessie Village include public security, inspection, law, armed forces, culture, education, health, supply and marketing, industry and commerce, and almost all county-level units." Villager Feng Guoxiang said.
West Street still retains its ancient commercial style. During the interview, the reporter saw that there were many shops on both sides of the street, and the handicrafts, textiles, local products and other commodities in the shops were dazzling. Tourists are woven during the day and brightly lit at night, and the special snacks in the night market dazzle diners and make them linger. Most streets and alleys are famous for their official culture. There is a tragic history behind the Wangye Temple in this village. In the seventeenth year of Yuan Dynasty (1375), the Red Scarf Army attacked Xun County, and the ruler Wang Shiyuan and his son led a small army to resist stubbornly. After the city was broken, Wang Shiyuan's family was killed. Lu Guangzu, the magistrate of Xun County in Ming Dynasty, built a memorial hall here. This ancestral temple was named "Xiao Zhong Temple", commonly known as "Wangye Temple". On holidays, residents come here to burn incense and paper in an endless stream. After a long time, a road named "Wang Yemiao Street" runs from Wangye Temple to Nanshan Street.
