Hacking cases and real murder cases inspired this study, said Penny mcardle, a forensic anthropologist consultant and lead author of the Forensic Medicine Department in Newcastle, Australia. Long-term victim

Scientists did experiments on the carcasses of young male domestic pigs bought from butchers. They packed peanuts with foam plastic to keep the inner cavity stable. Then, they hung them on a metal frame to simulate a standing victim.

The mountain city looked at the relevant cutting marks. The researchers asked volunteers to wave a factory-made machete. A factory made a mountain city and a mountain city in a traditional way.

Scientists at Scimitar Science (TED Al Jibe/AFP/Getty) have incorporated this machete into their research, because they realize that it is a tool that can be easily obtained all over the world and is often used in violent crimes. Even so, the research on the cutting marks of machetes is still very limited.

By observing the wounds on pig carcasses, scientists can help investigators find out the weapons used in various murder cases.

Chatter (Penny mcardle) After the volunteers cut off the corpse, the researchers examined the cutting marks on flat bones and long bones, such as pig ribs and shoulder blades, such as limbs.

They found that the machete produced a unique cutting mark called "vibrato", or broke small bone fragments at the edge.

On the other hand, Tatsu Yamashiro cut Tatsu Yamashiro, leaving a unique mark on all three bone types-a little bend from the entry point of the incision to the bone.
