Ordinary lathes have hard rails, and CNC lathes have hard and wire rails. Ordinary lathes have large drag plate handles, medium drag plate handles, and small drag plate handles, and CNC lathes don't have these handles and don't have small drag plates.
3, different operating efficiency
Ordinary lathes rely on gears and ordinary screw nut transmission. Due to the existence of gaps between the various moving parts, coupled with inaccurate manual operation, so the repeatability is lower. Ordinary lathe measurement needs to stop after manual measurement, measurement error is larger, and inefficient. It is suitable for small batch, not high precision requirement and zero work type parts. It has lower investment than CNC but requires higher operating skills for workers, so the wage level is high. The scrap rate and productivity of low level workers will give you a headache.
The CNC lathe adopts fully or semi-closed guards. Automatic chip removal devices are used. The spindle speed is high, and workpiece clamping is safe and reliable. Hydraulic chuck is adopted, the clamping force adjustment is convenient and reliable, and it also reduces the labor intensity of the operator. Automatic tool change is available.
Numerical control lathe are used in the automatic rotary tool holder, in the process of machining can be automatic tool change, continuous completion of multi-process processing. The main drive and feed drive of the CNC lathe adopt their own independent servo motors, which makes the transmission chain simple and reliable, and at the same time, the motors can either move separately or realize multi-axis linkage.
