What is Ethernet?
Ethernet realizes the idea of sending information to multiple nodes in the wireless system on the network. Each node must obtain cables or channels to transmit information, including physical layer wiring, electronic signals and the contents of media access layer protocols.
Ethernet can maximize the network speed and efficiency, reduce conflicts through the current fast Ethernet, and use hubs for network connection and organization.

Network interface types of Ethernet
SC fiber interface type. SC optical fiber interface has been applied in Ethernet era, and there are many kinds of interfaces, which are mainly used in LAN switching environment. It is available on some high-performance Ethernet switches and routers.
FDDI interface type. FDDI is one of the technologies with the highest transmission rate in Ethernet LAN. It has the characteristics of timed token protocol and supports various topologies. The transmission medium is optical fiber.
RJ-45 interface type. This interface is the most common interface of network equipment, commonly known as "crystal head", belonging to twisted-pair Ethernet interface type, and the transmission medium is twisted-pair cable.
