Wuling culture
Wuling Opera, once called Changde Ban, also known as Yuanhe Opera, Changde Opera, Changde xiang opera and Changde Han Opera, was not officially named Wuling Opera until 1980. Wuling Opera is based on Changde, Taoyuan, Hanshou, Shimen and Cili. It is widely popular in Hubin County of Xidongting, Qianyang and Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, and far away from southwest Hubei, eastern Sichuan and eastern Guizhou, with a wide audience.
