What are the cultural landscapes in Jinan?
Daming Lake Daming Lake looks like a crystal clear jasper embedded in the city center from the map of Jinan. To visit Daming Lake, it is most convenient to get off at Jinan East Station, and you can reach the east gate of the park a few hundred meters south of the station. Daming Lake covers an area of 46 hectares with an average depth of 2 meters. There are six islands, including Beiyangzhou and Cuiliuping. The shore is lush with flowers and trees, and pavilions are hidden among them; On the water, kites are flying, fish are jumping and yachts are floating in the waves. "Lotus on four sides and willow on three sides, one city with mountains and half a city with lakes" is a portrayal of the scenic characteristics of Daming Lake. There are many places of interest here, such as Lixia Pavilion, Tiegong Temple, Nanfeng Temple, Huibo Building, Arctic Temple and Yuanwang Garden. Daming Lake is a natural lake, which was first described by Li Daoyuan in the Northern Wei Dynasty more than 400 years ago. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, it was called Li Shui Pi and Lianzi Lake. In the Song Dynasty, it was called the West Lake; In the Jin Dynasty, it was called Daming Lake. Lake water comes from Pearl, Rose and Furong Springs, so it is called "multi-spring confluence". "Constant rain does not rise, long drought does not dry up" is its advantage, and there is also the natural ecological mystery of "the snake disappears and the frog does not sing". Daming Lake is a scenic spot with a long history in Jinan. Among the eight ancient scenic spots in Jinan, Daming Lake occupies five: Foshan reflection, sunset spray, boating on the lake, autumn moon on the lake and autumn wind. This shows how important Daming Lake is in Jinan's tourism culture. Baotu Spring Baotu Spring Park is adjacent to Qianfo Mountain in the south, Daming Lake in the north and quancheng square in the east, with an area of 10.5 hectare. Jinan has been called Quancheng since ancient times, with 72 springs and Baotu Spring as the crown. Baotu Spring is the symbol of Quancheng and the first of the three scenic spots. In addition to Baotu Spring, Jinxian Spring, Shuyuan Spring, Mabaoquan, Woniu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Liu Xuquan, Laojinxian Spring, Xibo Spring, Shangzhi Spring, Luosi Spring, Man Jing Spring, Shallow Jing Quan, Baiyun Spring, Wangshuiquan, East Gao Quan, Bailongwan Spring, Shiwan Spring, Dengzhou Spring, Dukangquan, etc. Baotu Spring has a long history. According to historical records, in the eighteenth year of Huan Gong (694 BC), the guild was in full swing, which means Baotu Spring, whose name began in Ceng Gong, one of the eight famous people in Tang and Song Dynasties. Baotu Spring has a peculiar landscape, and "Baotu Flying" is one of the eight scenic spots in Jinan. Pu Songling, a writer in the Qing Dynasty, praised Baotu Spring as "the first spring in the world and the Qimen resort is unparalleled", and Emperor Qianlong named Baotu Spring as "the first spring in the world". Baotu Spring is the first scenic spot in Jinan, and its unique landscape is unparalleled in the world. The best time to travel is in spring and summer. Jinan, located in the north, is in the rainy season. The water from the sky gathered on Mount Tai turned into an underground undercurrent and spewed out in the low-lying Jinan Basin. "The three holes stand upright, the springs are flourishing, and the water is surging like a wheel." The spectacular scene is exciting. Qianfo Mountain Qianfo Mountain is located at the southern edge of the city, with an altitude of 285 meters. It is the remnant vein of Mount Tai, which runs across the east and west, magnificent and beautiful, just like a huge brocade screen lying on the southern edge of Jinan city. Qianfo Mountain was originally named Lishan Mountain, which was called Triple Mountain in the Spring and Autumn Period, Triple Mountain in the Warring States Period and Shunshan Mountain, Miaoshan Mountain and Shungeng Mountain in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. During the reign of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty, caves were dug according to the mountain situation, and many Buddha statues were carved, which were called Thousand Buddha Mountains, and a "Thousand Buddha Temple" was built. During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, it was renovated, and the "Thousand Buddha Temple" was renamed as "xingguo temple" before it became a incense resort. Since the Yuan Dynasty, temple fairs have been held on the Double Ninth Festival every year. Although Qianfo Mountain is one of the three famous scenic spots in Jinan, in recent years, due to the lack of uniqueness, the number of tourists attracted is far less than that of the other two famous scenic spots, and it has become a place for local citizens in Jinan to do morning exercises and relax on holidays, with few foreign tourists. But if you want to see the scenery of Quancheng from a height, or have a soft spot for temple fairs, folk customs and Buddhism, you might as well come again another day. Park around the city The "city" here refers to the old city of Jinan, which is a circular park transformed from the moat outside the wall of the old city of Jinan. Since ancient times, Jinan has had the reputation of "weeping willows in every spring" and "lotus flowers on all sides and willows on three sides". The beautiful scenery of "one city has mountains and half a city has lakes" is famous all over the world. However, with the process of urban modernization, most residential buildings have been replaced by skyscrapers, and it is difficult to find such a small jasper landscape in Jinan city. Nowadays, the places that can best reflect the traditional landscape characteristics of this spring city are almost only the park around the city and Daming Lake. The park around the city is built along the moat, with a total length of 6.26 kilometers. Beautiful and elegant garden buildings, surrounded by green willows, Baotu Spring Group, Pearl Spring Group, Black Tiger Spring Group, Wulongtan Spring Group and Daming Lake are connected together, forming a landscaping center featuring springs in the lake. Around the city park, there are four seasons gardens along the east moat. From north to south, there are winter gardens, spring gardens, summer gardens and autumn scenery gardens in turn. There are pine, bamboo and plum in the winter landscape garden, so it is best to enjoy the snow. The green belt in the Spring Garden is lush and the spring is sultry. Surrounded by willows, the Summer Garden is surrounded by Xia Shu. Autumn scenery Garden is full of maple leaves and autumn fruits. . The Four Seasons Garden, with its spring flowers and autumn fruits, is dry in summer and dry in winter, echoing the majestic Jiefang Pavilion on the shore, adding profound historical and humanistic connotations to the park.
