China's scientists have made a new discovery: two new anti-cancer substances have been found again in the study of the components of the anti-cancer drug Shuanglingguobenshan. In this way, over the past two years, there are 10 new types of triterpenoids in China***, filling the gaps in the world's ganoderma research. At present, the naming of these 10 new substances is in progress.

As we all know, Ganoderma lucidum is one of the traditional Chinese medicinal herbs in China. In the Han Dynasty, Ganoderma lucidum was listed as the top grade in the Classic of the Materia Medica of Shennong and was regarded as having the efficacy of prolonging life and benefiting from longevity. In the Ming Dynasty, "Compendium of Materia Medica" recorded that Ganoderma lucidum can make people intelligent, improve skin color, and slow down aging when taken for a long period of time. Modern medical research has proved that Ganoderma lucidum contains a variety of active substances, among which triterpenoids are the most important anticancer substances, which have the effect similar to chemotherapy drugs in the order of micrograms, and are not toxic.

China's famous anticancer drug Shuanglingguobenxan uses the excellent red ganoderma lucidum strain identified by DNA fingerprinting, and the anticancer red ganoderma lucidum cultivated in Wuyi Mountain ganoderma lucidum base as the raw material, and is produced through the ultrasonic wall-breaking and acid-alkaline-alcohol extraction process, and the interception of the anticancer substances above the level of 400,000, and the purification and concentration technology and other national patented technologies. It ensures the integrity and diversity of Ganoderma lucidum triterpenoids, the active ingredient of anticancer drugs.

In 2006, our scientists used fingerprinting technology to discover that Shuanglingguobenzhanshan contains 22 kinds of triterpenes, 8 of which are new anti-cancer substances. This discovery stirred up the whole "15th World Congress of Pharmacology", in the international medical field, so far, there is no other drug that can contain such a wealth of anticancer substances, and there are so many new anticancer substances, greatly promoting the progress of the world's oncology research. This major discovery has attracted the attention of the world's scientific research institutions to China's anticancer drugs, and dozens of institutions, including the University of Chicago, Nottingham University, Georgetown University in Washington DC, and the Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, have joined in the in-depth study of this mysterious anticancer drug.

In early 2007, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, Green Valley Research Institute once again came exciting news: researchers in the double spirit of solid powder and found six kinds of triterpenoids, two of which for the new anti-cancer substances.
