What is Redis and what is it used for
Redis is a nosql database that stores key-value values. Because of its underlying implementation, data reading and writing is based on memory, which is very fast, it is commonly used for caching; and in turn, because it is independently deployed middleware, it is commonly used for distributed caching implementation scenarios.
Commonly used scenarios are: caching, spike control, distributed locking.
While it is based on memory read/write, there is also a persistence mechanism at the bottom; at the same time, it has a clustering model; there is no need to worry about its availability.
