How to implement the concept of "student development as the center" in physical education classroom teaching

1 The concept of centering on student development is not to ignore the guiding role of the teacher

The Curriculum Standard clearly states: "The core concern of the physical education and health curriculum is to meet the needs of the students and emphasize their emotional experience, and to promote the growth of the new socialist man who is fully developed. From curriculum design to evaluation of all aspects, always put the active and comprehensive development of students at the center. While paying attention to the leading role of the teacher in teaching activities, special emphasis is placed on the embodiment of the student's main position in learning, in order to give full play to the student's motivation and learning potential, and to improve the student's ability to learn physical education". The Interpretation of the Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards further illustrates such a viewpoint by suggesting that "the emphasis on student development as the center does not exclude the guiding role of the teacher in the process of physical education teaching; the teacher still needs to demonstrate and explain in the process of teaching and learning, and he or she still needs to guide the students to correct erroneous movements, but the teacher should not overemphasize his or her own role, should not spend too much time on demonstrations and explanations, and should leave students as much time and space as possible for independent learning, inquiry learning and cooperative learning, so that they can release their emotions and experience pleasure and gain more knowledge and understanding in physical activities." It can be seen that the Curriculum Standards and the Interpretation of the Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards clearly explain the true meaning of "centering on students' development" and clarify the relationship between students' "subject position" and teachers' "leading role" in the process of physical education teaching. The relationship between the "subject position" of students and the "leading role" of teachers in the process of physical education, emphasizing the center of student development does not mean that they do not need the guidance of teachers.

2 How to build the students' subject position in physical education

2.1 Make students clear about the purpose and significance of physical education

Teachers must strengthen the education of the purpose and significance of physical education for students, so that students realize the importance of physical education to enhance physical fitness and lifelong health, to improve psychological quality and social adaptability, and to ensure that they can complete their education and future employment in a spiritually energetic way, to improve the quality of life and the country's future. employment, to improve the quality of life and the prosperity of the country and the nation, and to raise the level of students' awareness of the study of physical education.

2.2 Guiding students to choose appropriate learning contents

Teachers should, on the basis of helping students to correct their motivation for learning, guide them to choose appropriate sports that are conducive to their long-term development according to their own body shape, physiological functions, physical qualities, personality traits, interests, and original foundations. If, due to the constraints of curriculum resources, some students are unable to choose their ideal program and need to adjust their volunteers, teachers must explain the reasons and do a good job of thinking about the students in depth.

2.3 Help students establish unit and classroom learning objectives

Physical education teachers should help students analyze the favorable and unfavorable conditions for learning the materials in the unit (or module) before the implementation of the unit, and formulate the learning objectives of the unit (or module) that are in line with their own actual situation and that can be achieved through their efforts. The realization of the unit learning objectives is based on the achievement of classroom learning objectives, so each class teachers also help students to establish classroom learning objectives, so that each student is clear about what they want to complete this class learning tasks, to achieve what specific requirements.

2.4 Pay attention to stimulate and cultivate students' interest in learning

The new round of physical education curriculum reform is very concerned about students' interest in physical education, "stimulate interest in sports" as the basic concept of the curriculum will be put forward, and emphasized: "sports interest and habit is to promote students' independent learning and lifelong adherence to exercise. Students' interest and habit of exercise is a prerequisite for promoting independent learning and lifelong persistence in exercise." To this end, in physical education teachers should pay attention to the following points:

(1) Students' interest in sports is not innate, but gradually formed and developed in the practice of sports later in life. For this reason, teachers should pay attention to the stimulation and cultivation of students' sports interest in teaching.

(2) As far as possible, we should choose those teaching materials which have great fitness value, strong teaching factors and are of interest to most of the students.

(3) to attach great importance to the reform of the organization and teaching method, especially for some relatively monotonous teaching materials and physical fitness exercises, should be in the organization of the reform of the method of teaching more efforts, through the lively form of teaching and learning organization and a variety of teaching methods to stimulate the students' interest in practice.

2.5Actively promote and correctly use the modern way of learning

Traditional physical education is based on receptive learning. Acceptance learning is a way of learning with the main purpose of obtaining indirect knowledge. It is oriented to all students, has the characteristics of fast and efficient, is the basic education stage of the main learning mode. However, there are obvious shortcomings in receptive learning, students under the direct guidance of the teacher, according to the teacher's explanation, demonstration of learning, often in a passive state, the subjective consciousness is easy to lack, the initiative and enthusiasm of learning is difficult to get full play, learning ability is difficult to be effectively cultivated. For this reason, the new round of basic education curriculum reform, actively promote independent learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning and other modern learning styles.

2.6 Create a democratic and harmonious teacher-student relationship

Creating a democratic and harmonious teacher-student relationship is a necessary condition for constructing the main body of students' physical education learning. To this end physical education teachers should:

(1) Respect, care, love and understand students.

(2) Pay special attention to the individual differences of students.

(3) Change the teaching style and promote teaching democracy.

2.7 Implement stratified teaching for all students

Students differ in their genetics, education, environment, living conditions, and degree of effort, and thus their physical conditions, athletic qualities, and physical education foundations show obvious individual differences, so they should be oriented to all students, and tailor teaching to the individual student's needs according to the student's individual situation.

(1) to seize the majority of students at the intermediate level. Most of the students' level of physical education is the basic basis for us to formulate physical education teaching objectives and assessment standards, select the teaching content and methods, determine the difficulty of practice and requirements, as well as arranging the teaching schedule and implementation of the basic basis for the organization of teaching.

(2) To promote sports students to get better development. According to the characteristics of sports students should be guided to develop their own characteristics of the learning objectives, choose their own

study methods, for them to create a greater independent learning and practicing time and space, as far as possible, to improve their physical fitness and sports technology, as well as self-learning, self-practice ability.

(3) We should focus on helping students who are behind in physical education to meet the basic requirements of the curriculum objectives. The key to whether physical education can really benefit every student lies in the sports backward students. The transformation of physical education students is subject to a variety of factors, the difficulty is great. For this reason, physical education teachers must change the concept of education, strengthen the sense of enterprise and responsibility, understand their psychology, understand their difficulties, care for them, close to them, enthusiastic, patient to strengthen their guidance, improve teaching methods, and rely on the power of the class group to help them make progress little by little, so as to build confidence, improve the learning of the conscientious enthusiasm, and step by step to achieve self-transcendence.
